How Pro verification works

Checkout creates a Stripe subscription. Your cog binary checks in with licence.getcog.ai, which confirms the subscription is still current. Cancel and you keep Pro through the paid period — then Free. No silent forever unlocks.

After payment, open the operator control plane Chat surface on your gateway (and the settings file editor) — billing portal returns there when configured.
